Ever needed admin rights to install software on a Vista PC and got frustrated because you had none?
Well, try this:
- Right-click on the Tool you want to run/install
- Navigate to Properties -> Compatability
- Tick the “Run this program in compatibility mode for:”
- Change the Drop-Down-Box Value to “Windows XP (Service Pack 2)”
And you’re done. Now you should be able to run the program.
Oh – and if you want to install something: Of course you need admin rights to write to c:programs. You don’t need them for programs though, so just create a folder there.
